A Simple Mindful Exercise for Today
Try the "Be the Light, Be Present" exercise:
Step 1: Choose a 'Light' Point. Select something beautiful and simple to focus on for 30 seconds. A wave, a flower, a smooth stone, or a beautiful vista like our coastal scene.
Step 2: Breathe and Focus. Take a deep breath. Let your eyes or mind rest completely on your chosen point of light. If your mind wanders (and it will!), don't worry. Simply, kindly, return your focus to your point of light.
Step 3: Acknowledge the Presence. As you focus, feel the sensation of just being there. This still moment is your inner light.
